Four Of Pentacles Tarot Card

Four Of Pentacles Tarot Card
The figure is shown very much closed up within himself. Every extremity is bound by material value; his attitude is that of one who is grasping and holding on. Skillful handling of money is shown by the perfectly balanced pentacle on top of the unadorned crown on his head. He has little regard for personal adornment, as shown by the carelessly faced laced shoes and the ragged cloak or shawl thrown about his shoulders and waist. The buildings behind him show much past material accomplishment, yet he is still clinging to his material values, wanting to accumulate and build more. The lesson here is that earthly riches do nothing for the inner soul, for the figure looks poor in spite of his many possessions.

Tarot cards came long after the playing cards deck, in 15th century. While playing cards were used in games, Tarot were designed for Psychic readings only. Each Tarot card tells a story about you and your future and past. When you are reading tarot cards, you are connecting with universe on a deep, psychic level, where shadows fall in the dark.
