Bicondova trained in dance from childhood, studying ballet, jazz, and hip-hop before joining the all-female hip-hop crew 8 Flavahz. The group reached a national audience on season 7 of MTV's America's Best Dance Crew in 2012, finishing as runner-up. That same year, she appeared in the dance film Battlefield America, which introduced her to a screen audience beyond the dance competition circuit.
Her screen career expanded when she was cast as Selina Kyle in Fox's Gotham, a crime drama that traced the early lives of Batman characters. Bicondova played Selina, a streetwise teenage orphan who grows into the Catwoman identity, across the show's five seasons from 2014 to 2019. The part became her best-known role and placed her in a large ensemble cast that included Ben McKenzie, Donal Logue, and Robin Lord Taylor. In the series finale, set a decade in the future, Lili Simmons portrayed an adult Selina; Bicondova did not play the older version. The role made her familiar to comic-book fans and remains the most prominent credit of her career.
