Experimental Solar-Based Card Timing and Day Partitioning

This tool calculates your Day Card, Hour Card, and Minute Card based on your local time zone and the position of the sun on your birth date. It also provides the estimated sunrise, solar noon, and sunset for your location.

Unlike the traditional Destiny Book approach, which follows a fixed 52-week / 7-day per week structure, this method is based on a more experimental interpretation of time, using the 7th pattern of time (dividing the day into segments of 7 hours or 7 minutes). This model is intended to explore how solar rhythms might influence card timing more organically.

Please note: This method is not aligned with the original teachings found in Olney Richmond’s texts or the classical Destiny Card system. It is a conceptual experiment rather than a proven or widely accepted system.

You may choose to use either your Local Birth Time or your Local Solar Birth Time (adjusted by solar noon) when experimenting with day divisions in Destiny Book software. While the software itself follows a fixed weekly structure, using solar-adjusted timing may offer a more nuanced and symbolic reading experience - especially when exploring hourly or minute-based transitions.

Additionally, the solar noon used here is based on elementary astronomical calculations. If precision is important to you, we recommend verifying solar noon for your location and birth date using official sources such as the gml.noaa.gov/grad/solcalc/ or official meteorological data.

You may choose to use either your Local Birth Time or an adjusted Local Solar Birth Time when exploring your daily or hourly cards in Destiny Book software. Using solar-based time may offer deeper insight into how natural light cycles affect your personal timing - but again, this is a supplemental approach and not part of the original system.

Clarified Experimental Disclaimer:

Please note: This method is an experimental tool based on solar segmentation and is not derived from Olney Richmond's original Destiny Card system. It offers an alternative view rooted in nature's rhythm - not fixed calendar structures. We recommend using it as a symbolic supplement for your personal timing insights, not as a substitute for traditional Destiny Card cycles.
