The singular active participle is ṣābir (صابر), "patient"; Sabirin represents the Arabic plural ṣābirīn (صابرين), formed with the masculine plural ending -īn.

Sabirin Name History & Origins
The form ṣābirīn appears in the Quran as a description of those who remain steadfast, including the phrase inna Allāha maʿa al-ṣābirīn, "Indeed, God is with the patient." The related singular Ṣābir is a common Arabic given name; Sabirin preserves the plural form. The root also yields ṣabr ("patience") and the divine name al-Ṣabūr ("the Most Patient").
