Major technology companies, including Apple, YouTube, Facebook, and Spotify, removed his content in 2018 for violating their policies. Jones spoke at rallies in Washington before the January 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol and was later subpoenaed by the House committee investigating it.
